RACE: A DETERMINING FACTOR IN MMA
posted by bryant || under MMA Smack
Mixed Martial Arts is not about RACE and or RACE superiority within MMA. It is the ability to perform that makes a person superior in MMA. People are always going to be drawn to competition. Whether that be by comparison, competitiveness, agility, power, strength, speed...the list goes on. When you hear people resorting to negative comments about race in MMA- it's pathetic at most. Un-educated attention trolls is what they are. If you look at it from a different perspective - when you compare two fighters you will automatically start concluding the versus of the two. 1. Brock vs Cain 2. Power vs Power 3. Power vs Technical Ability 4. Size ... full

TITO 'THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WALKIN' ORTIZ
posted by bryant || under MMA Smack
Ok Tito look, your old and it's time to hang up the gloves, with nothing more to offer to the UFC as well as us as your fans. We would respect you more to come to the realization that your "DONE". Your done... Dana White has stated that everyone knows what to expect when they get to 4 losses in a row. Tito should expect to get those walking papers as well. It's not that Tito is not a great fighter because he is "just that". When I heard that Tito was fighting I questioned "why"... What does he have to prove, then it dawned on me. ... full

BROCK LESNAR VS CAIN VALASQUEZ: SHAME
posted by bryant || under MMA Smack
This was a very disappointing loss for me personally. I predicted that Brock would come out of his corner like a bull and horn Cain in the [***]hole. Puckered up from the pain Cain would lay motionless on the mat as the referee pulled horn fragments out of Cain's [***]. Sadly that didn't happen, instead Cain opened a can crunk juice on a dazed and confused Brock Lesnar. I commend Cain on maintaining his composure and not rushing in to something that would have caused this fight to go opposite his favor. The truth of the matter and despite Brock Lesnars size, is that Brock is afraid ... full

SONNEN TESTS POSITIVE FOR STEROID USE - INCREDIBLE HULK WANNA BE
posted by bryant || under MMA Smack
The California State Athletic Commission suspended UFC middleweight title contender Chael Sonnen for (1) one year for steroid use following his loss to Anderson Silva. Reports indicate that Sonnen's tests revealed an imbalance to testosterone to estrogen - which is an indication of the use of steroids. For those of you living under a rock - obviously like Sonnen has been, is that the use of steroids is a banned substance intolerable by an sport/commission. The use of this banned substance can cause injury to both fighters, but of course after doping up, Sonnen intended to do the inflicting right? Pretty pathetic if you ask me, ... full

JAMES TONEY VS RANDY COUTURE
posted by bryant || under MMA Smack
James Toney is the biggest joke to ever hit MMA, next to Kimbo Slice!! C'mon, here you have a guy who talks "ALL THAT [****] ABOUT MMA" and then runs off to train at Walt Disney Camp...MAN GET OUT OF HERE. Why attempt to learn anything remotely related to MMA or go as far as joining a MMA training camp if all that comes out of your mouth is "Boxing is Better Than MMA". If thats the case stick to the boxing, because last time I checked boxers threw punches and that's it.
Rude awakening coming...
I kinda agree that Dana is creating ... full
